Thrid Trimester

I have officially hit the third trimester! And I think having a baby as actaully started to hit me. The other day, I was watching TLC's "A baby story" Which I have watched hundreds of times in my life, and the women was in labor pushing out her baby, when I noticed that I was starting to cry! Now, some may think that it was just good ol' pregnancy hormons, but for me pregnancy has been quite the opposite, if anything it has leveled out my hormons. And I have felt the best I have in years, in that department. So I dont believe it was the pregnancy hormons that got me weepy, but I think I am finally realizing that I am going to be a mom, and will be having a baby in 2 1/2 months.

Jamie and I purchased our first baby gear. It is a Pac N' Play, which will also serve as Julians bassinet in our room, for the first couple months!

School is almost over and I only have three more fnals, and then I can take a breather, for a little bit. My mom is coming out in a couple of weeks and I am very excited, I think Julian is too, since while I write this he is kicking me like crazy. At my last doctors appointment, which was thrusday, they told me that his head is now down, and that is the reason for all the new pressure, and pains I have been feeling. Nothing too painful, just not that comfortable.

Here are some pics of the Pac N' Play that Jamie so kindly assembed for me, I helped a litte! It is kinda a grayish- brown and light blue. I really love it!

29 Weeks Pregnant! Coming to the finish line

A couple of post ago, I mentioned that Jamie and I got to run away for the weekend at a nice condo! Here are the pictures from our balcany that I took! It snowed that weekend, so it was really pretty outside.

Yes Jamie played Jesus

So if you read Jamie's last post, you know he has been super busy with his Portuguese play. The play is entitled "Auto de Compadedida" Jamie says it doesn't translate into English very well, but basically it means something about the compassion of Mary (meaning the virgin Mary). It is supposedly a very popular Brazilian play, and very well known over the world. The play is for his class, and essentially it is their whole grade. Jamie was caste to play the role of Jesus. All semester he has been practicing and two weeks ago they started performances. Jamie will have his last performance this Tuesday in Salt Lake. He has really enjoyed it, but I think is is tired and ready to be done.

Last Friday I attended to show my support. The whole thing was in Portuguese, so I didn't understand a word, luckily in the program they had the basic plot written out in English in pretty good detail, so I had a basic idea. Like I said it is a really popular play, so the night I was there, most of the audience either spoke Portuguese, or were Brazilians who live in the area. It is a comedy, so people all around me were laughing and I didn't have a clue why most of the time. All in all I did enjoy myself, and was really proud of Jamie he did such a good job, and I know how much work he put into the play.

Here are some pictures of Jamie during the play!

My play

So I am in a play called "Auto de Compadedida". It is going great!. We have four perfomances this week and held two last week. We will have three at BYU and one Utah State this Saturday. I have to drive to all the locations because I am the only one with a van card. No problem, unfortunately the play keeps me busy and graduation quickly approaches. Off soon to find a big boy job. I wished I had looked sooner but, time was not on my side this time.

By the way our little tyke is doing great. He is growing fast and baking well in his mommy's tummy. These little ones require a lot of things. I have been thinking about all the classic movies, books and sports equipment he'll need. :D anyway, he has a crib and pack and play now, so I think we are set temporarily. I think. I guess Stephanie will let me know soon enough. I not the boss anymore, matter of fact, I have never been the boss in this relationship. Oh well, I guess i better get use to it. When we have more little ones, and if there are girls, my life will be dominated by them all. I guess this is karma for not having sisters. HA HA wishful thinking. Big Gulp ehh, well see you later.

MIDWAY

Jamie and I had an amazing weekend! It started off with My boss, calling Thursday afternoon, wanting to know if Jamie and I wanted to use his families Condo/timeshare for the weekend. I was so excited, and this was something I felt we both needed, especially with finals just around the corner. Also it might be the last time we have the opportunity to "get away" just the two of us, before Julian is born. And all the responsibility's come along. So Friday night we made the drive up through Provo Canyon and to the town of Midway. For a little background info, Midway Utah was originally settled by Swiss, Mormon Pioneers, who felt like the town was a "little Switzerland" of sorts. It is nestled up in the mountains and is a really pretty area. So the pioneers essentially brought Switzerland with them, by making the whole town appear more "Swiss" like. The architecture, is all very Swiss, even the churches, and resorts. They have German stores, and food, as well as a lot of fun activities. All in all it is a really nice place, and not that far away to feel like you have gone away.

We spent Friday, Saturday, and half of Sunday, mostly relaxing, We traveled around the city a bit, but I think both of us were really in need for some down time. Also it was conference, so we had a great time lounging in a really nice king size bed watching conference. The condo, was a two bedroom, two bath, with a loft. The master bath had a Jet tub, which I have decided, I would really like to have someday in my own bathroom.

Sunday afternoon we went to our good friends in Alpine for dinner and the second session of Conference. Conference was great this year, as always. I am I so thankful, for the opportunity to hear from the prophet and apostles every 6 months.

Overall, this weekend was AMAZING!

I brought my Camera, but only took one picture which I might post later, so for now so you get an Idea of what I am talking about here are some pictures I took off the web

This is the Midway Welcome sign. Already to can see Switzerland!

This is the exterior of the Condo we stayed at. There were about 8 of these buildings and each building has 8 units.

This is a look at the inside. Our layout was a bit different, and the furniture better looking I think! Side note, I have ALWAYS LOVED Spiral Stair cases, and have always wanted one of those as well in my home

This place is called ZERMOTT. It is a resort and Spa, right next door to ours! It really is it's own village, with restaurants, stores, activities, pools, and suites, all sticking with the Swiss theme. I just thought I would post this picture to give you an idea of what the town basically looks like. There are building just like this throughout.
