Quick Update

Well I am over 37 weeks along, and this pregnancy is coming to an end! I took belly pictures about a week ago, but I already have my camera packed in my hospital bag, so I don't think I will take it out and post those just yet! It will have to come at a later date!

I went to the doctor today for my weekly update. He said that I am about 1 and 1/2 centimeters dilated and 60% effaced! So that is very exciting. He said that I am further along than most first time pregnant women at this point, but he doesn't think I am far enough along to think that I will go into labor in the next week! But I am just happy to hear that I am progressing!

This week was the last of the Spring semester, so I am basically ready to go at anytime! I am getting to the point when I cant really sleep because my mind is going, with all the excitement and planning that is constantly brewing!

I will try to keep everyone updated!

Julian's Room!

A couple of weeks ago my mom came out for Womens conference, the baby shower, and to help get the babies room all in order! I am not finished completely, I have a few odds and ends to finish the look, but I thought I would post some pictures!



This is our Stroller! I really like it! It is sturdy but not to bulky, and is smooth to steer, all big points in my book!






This is the Car seat that will be used after our boy grows out of the infant seat (Which I have a feeling will be quite quickly) It is both rear and forward facing so it can be used for quite sometime! I have to thank my grandma and grandpa for both the previously mentioned items! I am so happy with them!







Here is the Crib, the colors for the room are chocolate brown, and green with the accent of the pretty blue!






Wall decor' and the guest bed with the same matching colors, I still need to get a chocolate brown bed spread, and more pillows!

I am now almost 35 weeks and soon will start having doctor appointments every week! Jamie and I are so excited and are just counting down the weeks!

Julian has a middle name

Well after much debate, and discussion regarding Julian's middle name, we have made a decision....

JULIAN THOMPSON JAMES

Thompson is my mothers maiden name. And Jamie and I both really liked the idea of maybe starting a tradition where we honor the women in our life's by taking their maiden name as middle names. I love my mother and am very thankful for sticking by me, even when we didn't get along. Jamie always tells me that I am just like my mother and that we have some of the very same mannerisms. I am very excited for Julian to carry on her name!




Another side note for the name is that, before we were even married, Jamie made a character on an X box football game he named his Julion (not how we are spelling it) and gave him the last name of Thompson, so Jamie thinks he was inspired! lol

My only precursor to the name is that no one is allowed to call him J.T! I guess I cant stop it if his friends call him that, but family and friends now, please, please, please refrain from calling him J.T. I just have always hatted that name, and would prefer that he just go by his first name!

We cant wait to meet the little guy!

Short update

This is going to be a quick update, because I am at school on a timed computer so I have limited time to writee. But I felt I should give a little update.

Well school started again for me, I am still working both jobs and taking two classes, nothing to hard, just keeps me busy. I keep going back and for on how long I will keep my early morning custodial job, part of me wants to do it soon so I can make sure I am well rested before Julian comes, but part of me really likes having the money! I know that is not the best reason, but it is not just because I am greedy, but more thinking about how much it is going to cost when Julian comes, and the fact that come August, Jamie will no longer have the custodial job eaither, and it currently on the job hunt. So not the most nerve easy thing.

My mom came in last weekend, and we had a blast, I took a couple days of work, we went to womens conference, and had my baby shower put on by a great friend! We had a blast. And got some much needed items done before Julian comes. I will post more about the shower and all that fun later when I have pics and more time.

Well I am almost out of time so I will continue this at a later date, hope everyone is well, we miss family and friends far from us, and are counting down the days until Julian is here ( which is about 50 by the way)Last appointment the doc said everything looks great, go again in two weeks!
